Neil Fleming- Celbrige Paddlers Canoe Club and Peter Egan-Salmon Leap Canoe Club  with Paul Dempsey of Setanta Sports at the presentation of  the Clarion Hotel – Lucan Gazette Dublin Sports Awards ceremony for 2011 held at the Clarion Hotel on Friday 3^rd February which was covered by Setanta Sports. 
Fleming and Egan won the “Team of the month award” for October  having had their most successful year to date winning the following competitions during 2011. 
July: National K2 Doubles Marathon Championships title.
August: British K2 Doubles Marathon title.(first ever Irish crew to win this title)
October:K2 winners of the International Liffey Descent
11^th in the K2 World Marathon Championships,Singapore
